Kaden's Activities and Antics

In Daddy's "home office" (a.k.a. the garage) making some important calls

At Warwick's Book Store for a Lego lecture and presentation.

Posing with some local art.

Checking out the caterpillars we ordered for the butterfly garden.

Watching the butterflies hatch from chrysalides.

Silly wanted to see how the breast pump worked

Very attentive at the Madagascar Live show at Sea World - he loved that the black lights made his shoes glow!

K and B at the Disney Pirate and Princess Adventure Show

Checking out the new Koala exhibit at the zoo - loving that the summer crowds are gone!

Taking a Lego Engineering class at Nightingale Music on Tuesday afternoons.

Flying high and knowing Daddy is always there to catch me.

Harrison - Two Months Old

We are loving this baby boy so much!  He's a fantastic baby - eat, play, sleep, repeat!  We are, however, doing loads and loads of laundry as this child spits up everything he eats.  Sure doesn't look like it, does it?
13 pounds 7.8 ounces
22.5 inches

H loves bath time!

The agony of being a UK Football fan and the ecstasy of being a Cardinals Baseball fan
Enjoying a game of "this little piggy..." (since K couldn't get to H's piggies, he settled for his fingers).

First bottle - September 3, 2013

Like his big brother, H loves his paci.  The funny thing about it is that every time we stick it in his little mouth he acts as though we are feeding him poison.

This month brought trips to the Zoo and Sea World with big brother and friends.  H also got to spend some time with the Mauck family who came in for a quick visit.

First Smile

This baby's smile!!!  It can melt even the coldest of hearts.  We saw the first smile when he was six weeks, but didn't get anything consistent until about eight weeks.  I think his smile is the carbon copy of his father's, and it makes me joyful every time.  What brings out Harrison's biggest smiles?  The sound made when popping your lips, blowing on his big belly, and his mama's voice.

First Day of School - Year Two at LJPCPS

After a fun and eventful summer, Kaden was excited to go back to school.  This year he is in Classroom 4 at La Jolla Presbyterian Church Preschool with Teachers Mrs. DiTommaso and Mrs. Mitchell.  Brookie is in his class again along with twelve other children he remembers from last year.  This year, he will go to school Monday through Thursday from 9-12.  We are looking forward to another terrific year!!

Volcano

Kaden got a volcano kit for his birthday and has loved all the experimenting.  The bigger the eruption the bigger his smile!
